Job Title:  Human Resources Business Partner

Location:  Belfast

Annual Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience

Closing Date:  5th December 2025

About the Role

You’ll work in a small HR team reporting to the HR Manager at our busy food manufacturing site. The role is varied, covering all areas of HR — from recruitment and training to employment casework and attendance management. This is a site-based role on Castlereagh Road, Belfast.

We produce leading UK bakery brands including Kingsmill, Sunblest and Allinson’s. At our Belfast site, we make a range of breads such as 50/50, Batch and Veda, along with pancakes, soda and potato bread.

Key Accountabilities

• Advise management on attendance and employment issues.

• Improve engagement and culture through communication.

• Maintain employee relations and partner with shop stewards.

• Deliver training and coach managers.

• Handle HR admin and SuccessFactors updates.

• Support change programmes.

• Lead site training needs and delivery.

• Promote H&S and wellbeing; lead MHFA and Dignity & Diversity Champions.

• Cover HR Manager

The Right Person

• CIPD Qualified is desirable
• Experience in a HRBP role 
• Proven interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational skills to plan/prioritise workload 
• Experience of HR systems, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint and Word
• Experienced in delivering training eg Induction, HR Policies and Management Development​​​​​​
