Join Hovis Bakeries as a Class C Delivery Driver

We’re looking for Class C Delivery Drivers to join our team at our Glasgow Depot, delivering our bakery products to customers across Glasgow and the surrounding areas.
Whether you already have multi-drop experience or are newly qualified and looking for an opportunity to build your experience, we’d be pleased to hear from you.
The Role
As a Class C Delivery Driver, you’ll play an important part in making sure our products reach our customers safely, on time and with great service.
Your role will include:
- Carrying out multi-drop deliveries to customer locations
- Completing vehicle checks before starting your route
- Loading and unloading products safely as required
- Following road safety, transport and company procedures
- Providing a friendly and professional service to our customers
- Working closely with the wider depot and transport team
- Taking care of your vehicle and reporting any issues promptly
Our drivers typically work 5 days over 7, including weekends on a rota, with a 3:00am start and an average working week of 45.5 hours.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll need:
- A valid Class C (Category C) driving licence
- A valid Driver CPC
- A commitment to safe and responsible driving
- A customer-focused approach
- The ability to work a 3:00am start and the advertised shift pattern
- A collaborative approach and willingness to work as part of the wider depot team
Multi-drop delivery experience is helpful but isn’t essential. Newly qualified Class C drivers are welcome to apply, and we’ll provide a full induction and support to help you get started.
