We're looking for a Logistics Training Academy Trainer to join our Central Logistics team.

 

This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering Driver CPC (DCPC) and wider logistics training programmes across Allied Bakeries. Working with colleagues across the business, you'll help ensure our drivers and operational teams remain compliant, knowledgeable and equipped to perform their roles safely and effectively.

 

Location: Based at the successful candidate’s nearest company location 

The Role

 

Reporting to the Legal Compliance Manager, you'll design, deliver and administer Driver CPC training programmes, ensuring training remains compliant, engaging and aligned to business requirements.

 

You'll deliver training sessions, maintain training records, support regulatory compliance and identify emerging training needs across the logistics function.

 

Alongside Driver CPC delivery, you'll support wider training activities covering areas such as health and safety, compliance, despatch operations and Operator Licence requirements.  Working collaboratively with colleagues, you'll help ensure a consistent approach to training delivery while supporting continuous improvement across our logistics operation.

What You'll Bring

 

You'll be organised, proactive and comfortable building relationships with colleagues across the business.

Ideally, you'll have:

 

  • CPC Instructor or Driver Assessor/Instructor qualification (NRI, CRT, ADI or equivalent)
  • Level 3 qualification in Education, Training or equivalent
  • Knowledge of transport legislation, including drivers' hours, WTR, tachograph rules and Operator Licence requirements
  • Experience designing and delivering training programmes
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate training records

 

It would also be beneficial if you have:

 

  • Transport Manager CPC qualification
  • Previous LGV driving experience
