The role of the Logistics Coorinator is to managing and monitoring safety, performance and compliance tasks within the Logistics team.
Supporting the safe receipt, handling, distribution and collection of all goods to/from our customers/suppliers in accordance with all legal and company requirements. 
Effective time management to deliver 80% of daily activity in a “hands on” working capacity with, 20% in a supervisory capacity. 
You will lead labour planning requirements for the department. This role reports directy to the 
 

Key Accountabilities

Input and monitor all hazard reporting with trending feedback to FLM’s in Logistics.
Take a lead role in the delivery of workplace audits supporting the ‘Safety First’ message.
Take direct ownership for allocation of tasks to the operative workforce, making the best use of company WMS, fleet management systems and labour flexibility, ensuring teams demonstrate operational excellence and compliance to all systems including safe systems of work.
Develop Operatives, Drivers and Administrators who reflect the Company's Values and who possess the necessary  knowledge, skills, attitudes and qualifications to perform.
Ensure agency management is first class with timesheet collation and payroll systems.
Support the Despatch department’s orderfill, cost and efficiency KPI’s by making best use of the company WMS and route planning systems. 
Ensure that any service (CSL’s) and stock issues arising are addressed promptly and where appropriate, escalated, as required. 
Support FLM’s with the delivery of the ‘Safety First’ message.
Build and develop effective relationships with other sites to ensure cross functional working and the optimal performance of the function is achieved. 
Provide management cover for the FLM in their absence; demonstrating the ability and willingness to develop the skills and knowledge required to progress in their career.
