Salary: circa £56000

Hours : Monday – Friday 10am – 6:30pm (42 hours per week)

✨ About the Role

At Allied Bakeries, we’re looking for a passionate and driven Logistics FLM to lead our Transport and Despatch teams. Reporting to the Logistics Lead, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products are safely prepared and delivered to customers on time and in full.

🛠 What You’ll Be Doing

• 🔒 Driving a “Safety First” culture across all operations
• ⚠️ Supporting risk assessments and ensuring safe systems of work are followed
• 📋 Ensuring full compliance with H&S standards, policies, and legislation
• 🎯 Setting clear performance goals and ensuring teams are engaged and motivated
• 👥 Leading, coaching, and developing teams to achieve shift objectives
• 📊 Managing attendance, performance, and conduct in partnership with HR and unions
• 🌱 Supporting recruitment, training, and development of team members
• ✅ Maintaining compliance with QAS and food safety standards
• 🚚 Ensuring all goods are accurately prepared, loaded, secured, and documented
• 🥖 Taking ownership of product integrity, traceability, and withdrawal processes
• 💷 Managing and controlling shift costs (labour, absence, waste, damage, etc.)
• 🔄 Driving continuous improvement and leading positive change initiatives
