Join Our Team: We are seeking Bakery Operatives to join our production team.

📍 Location: Allied Bakeries, Newcastle-under-Lyme.
💰 Salary: Starting at £28,791.60 increasing to £32,172.07 after training.
🕙 Shifts: Varied pattern which includes nights and weekends.

This role operates on a varied shift pattern, including night work, averaging 42 hours per week across 12-hour shifts. 

What You Need To Know:

You will assist with the efficient operation of the plant to produce high quality bread whilst maintaining high standards of hygiene, housekeeping and safety. You will continuously monitor quality standards, reporting or rectifying problems. This is a demanding role in a busy and heavily audited factory environment.

🔹Ensure own development and training needs are identified. Participate in the proactive environment of learning  (1:1’s)

The Right Person

Essential

✅ Ability to demonstrate a good level of Health and Food Safety awareness
✅ Numerical, reading and information recording skills.
✅ A genuine enthusiasm for food manufacturing coupled with a resilient and positive attitude is essential due to the nature of the role.

Advantageous

✅ Understanding and application of food hygiene/GMP/(ABSS standards) 
✅ Understanding of baking process 
✅ Basic Food Hygiene Certificate IOSH or equivalent
