Job Title:  Despatch Operative

Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme

Salary: £30,914.80

Shifts: 2 days 2 nights – 4 off pattern (Days 07:00 – 19:00. Nights 19:00 – 07:00)

As Despatch Operative, it is your responsibility to ensure our orders are despatched in an accurate and timely manner with minimum damage whilst maintaining a safety-first approach. You’ll achieve this through product receipt, loading and unloading of vehicles, order picking, and product allocation. Forklift truck driving is a key part of this role, so it is essential you can use one.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment, preferably FMCG, with high standards, good attention to detail and a willingness to work to rigorous procedures.

This is a demanding role in a heavily audited and busy logistics environment. A genuine enthusiasm for the nature of the work coupled with a positive attitude is essential.
