📍 Location: Allied Bakeries Stoke (Newcastle-under-Lyme)
🕙 Hours:  Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours 
💰 Salary: Circa £65k dependent on experience

We have an exciting career opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager to join the Site Leadership team at our Stoke bakery, a diverse and innovative FMCG environment where you can make a real difference by improving operational performance, creating growth, 
and contributing to a positive and engaged workplace culture. 

Reporting to the Site Manager, we need someone to lead, inspire, and influence in a role that gives a rare opportunity to shape the future of our manufacturing operations. 

What You'll Be Doing

 

🔹 Leading by example to cultivate a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental 
standards.
🔹 Inspiring and developing operational teams, ensuring they meet and exceed KPIs in a fast-paced manufacturing 
setting.
🔹 Continuously improving product quality and manufacturing practices, developing initiatives that optimise 
performance and reduce costs.
🔹 Collaborating across functions to implement national projects, sharing best practices for enhanced site and 
group performance.
🔹 Actively contributing to the site and regional management teams, working towards shared goals and strategic objectives.

What We're Looking For

 

✅ Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced, results-driven manufacturing environment.
✅ A degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) is advantageous, but not essential.
✅ A critical thinker, with strong project management skills, and the ability to present to a range of stakeholders.
✅ A positive attitude with the ability to lead, influence, and develop teams, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
✅ A resilient, results-focused mindset with a passion for delivering meaningful change.
