Job Title:  Manufacturing Shift Manager

Overview of Role

📍 Location: Allied Bakeries Stoke (Newcastle-under-Lyme)
🕙 Hours:  42 hour average week working 4 on 4 off (12 hour days and nights) 
💰 Salary: Circa £50k dependent on experience

What You'll Be Doing

We're looking for a Manufacturing Shift Manager to join our Stoke bakery, a fast-paced FMCG environment where our Front Line Managers (FLMs) play a key role in leading their team to deliver  targeted performance whilst always ensuring health, safety, and wellbeing remain at the top of your agenda.  

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for driving and implementing improvements encompassing all key performance measures, and leading change through the development of individuals and the shift team.
 
You will lead by example to ensure a safety-first culture is foremost in individual & team behaviours and you’ll drive a culture of personal ownership, accountability, and a “can-do” attitude. 

What We're Looking For

✅ Proven experience in leadership, motivation & cultural change management, preferably within a FMCG environment. 
✅ A collaborative worker; results driven with the willingness to work to rigorous procedures. 

This is a demanding role in a heavily audited and busy factory environment. A genuine enthusiasm for team management and driving safety and performance, coupled with a resilient and positive attitude is essential.
