An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Manufacturing Team at Allied Bakeries!

As Manufacturing Technician, it is your responsibility to safely & effectively operate the bakery plant to deliver optimal productivity & efficiency. You will positively engage with your team to ensure they receive appropriate training, coaching & mentoring to achieve high levels of targeted performance, customer satisfaction & quality standards; this will be founded on a culture of continuous improvement, development & learning.

Key Accountabilities

🔹Engage in the Safety First culture and compliance with AB internal policies and procedures 
🔹Ensure staff receive appropriate training, coaching & mentoring
🔹Identify training gaps for team members.
🔹Deliver quality product to the required standards 
🔹Contribute to the delivery of the production plan 
🔹Ensure own development and training needs are identified. Participate in the proactive environment of learning. 
🔹To actively participate and contribute in the sharing of “Best Practice” within manufacturing.

Additional Accountabilities

There is an expectation that any employee within AB demonstrates a flexible and can do approach to their work and may on occasion be required to take part in other areas of the business, to provide resource and expertise as required but also to give the individual opportunity to develop their own skill base and broader knowledge.

The Right Person

✅Experience in a leadership role is preferable.
✅Experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferable.
✅Basic food hygiene certificate (CIEH Level 2) IOSH or equivalent.
✅Computer Literate (understand and interact with HMI screens)
✅A genuine enthusiasm for food manufacturing coupled with a resilient and positive attitude is essential due to the nature of the role.
