Annual Salary £40,636.51

£1000 sign on bonus. 
£250 when you join, £250 at 6 months and £500 at 1 year anniversary.

We are seeking qualified and dedicated Class 2 Delivery Drivers to join our team in Walthamstow. If safety is your priority and you’re passionate about providing exceptional customer service, we’d love to have you on board!

What the role involves:

• Primarily multi-drop deliveries to our customer's stores.
• Working 45 hours per week. 5 days on 3 days off.
• Reporting to a Transport Front Line Manager and ensuring the safe and timely delivery/collection of goods.

Key Accountabilities

• To comply with all legal requirements for HGV Drivers
• To always drive Company vehicles to high standards of safety and courtesy, including compliance with the Highway Code and any Company standards
• To apply SAFED driving techniques, in order to maximise levels of safety and fuel efficiency
• To comply with all Company delivery and collection procedures, e.g. picking from bulk order load, order adjustment, health and safety
• To comply with Company standards for customer service
• To report immediately to the FLM any variations to required standards of product quality and service levels
• To follow Company standards and procedures for working with, and accounting for, Company products and equipment, e.g. bread baskets, pallets, store returns and buffer stock.
• To comply with all Company requirements for Driver training and communications
• To carry out any duties, as required by the Company, e.g. unloading, refuelling and washing vehicles and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).

The Right Person

• An experienced multi-drop driver with a Class 2 licence (held for at least 12 months).
• A valid CPC card.
• Someone who prides themselves on providing top-notch customer service and safe, courteous driving.
• A commitment to maintaining company standards for handling equipment such as bread baskets, pallets, and store returns.
• You’ll be an ambassador for Allied Bakeries, showcasing professionalism in a customer-facing role.
