Role: Class 1 LGV Driver

Location: Trafford Park, Manchester, M50
Hours: 42 p/week (4 on 4 off)
We have a great opportunity for a Class 1 LGV Driver to join an experienced team, providing a first-class service on behalf of our flour mill. In this role, the successful candidate will primarily service our flour customers, loading, delivering and unloading our products.
Key Accountabilities
- Operating to procedures as defined within site quality, environmental and health and safety systems and standards.
- Working proactively in line with the Company Zero Harm and Safety First strategy.
- Operating the vehicle in accordance with current legislation.
- Discharging bulk flour and semolina in accordance with our company safe operating procedures.
- Completing regular safety checks on vehicles and report any issues in a timely manner to the appropriate colleagues.
- Conducting dynamic risk assessments of delivery sites and premises to ensure safe working for self and others; reporting back any hazards/unsafe practices.
- Maintaining clean and tidy vehicles, including inside the cab and taking good care of vehicles when operating.
- Accurate completion of all relevant paperwork.
- Delivering a high standard of customer service and to be a positive representative of Allied Mills at all times.
- Delivering Allied Mills products on time and in full within the agreed time windows.
