Overview of role
Role: Stock and site Services Administrator
Company: Allied Mills
Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Hours: 40 p/week (Monday-Friday)
To coordinate the wheat and wheatfeed movements to and from the mill, and provide full support to the Stock Control Manager. Involvement with some broader aspects of business planning where required.
Key Accountabilities
- Liaise with wheat merchants for wheat and wheatfeed bookings.
- Work with the production department to ensure the wheat variety arriving on site is the variety required.
- Balance the wheat intake with an agreed working capital.
- Ensure that the documentation for wheat stored off-site wheat is received, correct and stored for future audits.
- Quarterly wheat store visits.
- Weighbridge operations.
- Management Accounts processing.
- Full cover for the Stock Control Manager.
- Administration support for the site as and when required.
- Control of site visitors
- Organisation of on-site catering services
- Maintaining stocks of office supplies
