Role: Technical & Environmental Administrator
Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Hours: 40 p/week
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical & Environmental Administrator to join our Team. This role will support group and site technical and environmental functions. Key areas of responsibility include, management systems, customer queries and questionnaires, internal / external audits, Environment data management and ethical supply chain monitoring.
Key Accountabilities
Responsibilities:
- Supporting Technical function on site – working with the Technical Assistant to ensure site compliance with external audits, internal audits and customer standards with corrective action plans implemented.
- Managing customer queries – queries, supplier approval questionnaires, specifications, trials and new specifications.
- Document control management – issuing and controlling documents for both food safety and environment.
- General support – training materials refresh and managing consumables.
- Management Systems - the maintenance and development of Group Management Systems.
- Data Reporting - the collection, review, transformation, analysis and reporting of internal / supply chain non-financial ESG data to comply with Legal, ABF, customer and other mandatory reporting requirements.
- Managing Data – co-ordinating, documenting and improving data flows and processes to ensure accuracy, reliability and repeatability of data.
- Influencing & Communicating – developing and maintaining strong internal and external communication channels to influence, inform and enable compliance.
- Data verification and validation – checking and auditing of data to ensure accurate, complete and reliable data.
- Supplier ESG Compliance – working with suppliers to ensure the on-going compliance of all mandatory ESG requirements.

Requirements:
- Great communication skills with the ability to influence
- Good organisational skills and a high attention to detail
- Ability to work with initiative applying a curious and learning mindset
- Experience of working within the Food & Drink industry
- Previous knowledge and understanding of Quality & Food Safety, Environment / ESG
- Experience/qualification in external & internal auditing
- IT literate (excel intermediate), with the ability to understand & interpret data
- High attention to detail, ability to digest complex information
- Able to effectively manage own time to prioritise actions
- Collaborative approach
- Able to clearly convey detailed information to people at all levels of the business
