Work as part of the Grocery Services Centre (GSC) Technical Services Team providing technical service activities ensuring customer expectations are fully met. Support and engage with local and wider ABF teams to continuously improve the environment to ensure the delivery of a good customer service experience.
Based in a small team dedicated to providing device, technical asset management and licence support along with provision of relevant reporting and administration. The role includes working closely with our Shared Service Centre (SSC) who controls our central infrastructure function to managing the service across our supported business units and users.

Key Accountabilities
As a Technical Support Analyst your key responsibilities will include:
✔️ Follow asset management processes and meet audit requirements.
✔️ Monitor and report stock levels to support consistent customer service.
✔️ Ensure devices meet SLA and are ready for use across business units.
✔️ Act as a key contact for local infrastructure issues within the team.
✔️ Help resolve issues and escalate to ABF BTS when necessary.
✔️ Manage desktop and infrastructure apps, including licensing and reporting.
✔️ Collaborate with Grocery Service Centre and ABF BTS to improve service quality.
✔️ Assign and manage licences, working with Tech Services and IS Finance.
✔️ Deliver technical project tasks to agreed standards and timelines.
✔️ Uphold IT control structures and embed best practices.
✔️ Promote continuous improvement within the team.
The Right Person
We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual with:
✔️ Solid understanding of best practice frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
✔️ Educated to A-level/SQA Highers or equivalent, with relevant experience.
✔️ Able to interpret standards/regulations and assess their impact on Technical Services.
✔️ Good knowledge of IT infrastructure (e.g., desktops, laptops).
✔️ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
✔️ Experienced in Technical Services or similar roles.
✔️ Self-motivated with effective workload management.
✔️ Reliable, flexible team player with cross-functional collaboration skills.
