Job Opportunity: Employee Relations Advisor 

Location: Hybrid working with site location in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire

Contract Type: Temporary. 6mths: February - August 2026

Function: People & Performance 

Reports To: People Business Partner

We are on the lookout for an experienced Interim ER Advisor to join our friendly, dynamic team at Jordan’s Cereals for 6 months, (February – August). The role will take the lead in Employee Relations support for our 180+ people in our Manufacturing Factory based teams (Operations, Quality + Engineering). 

Although this is a full-time position, we’re happy to offer flexible hours equivalent to four days per week. The role is primarily based at our Biggleswade site and includes a hybrid working arrangement, combining on-site and remote working.  

First stage interview window will be: 19th January - 23rd January 2026.  

Key Accountabilities

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Case Management: Own end-to-end support and tracking of Employee Relations cases, including investigations, hearings, performance management, probation reviews, exit interviews, grievances, and dismissals. Escalate complex cases to People Business Partner.  
  • Manager coaching: Provide guidance, support and coaching to our people managers, to help them build capability and confidence in managing their teams effectively.
  • Reporting & Insights: Analyse ER data to identify trends, risks, and skills gaps, providing insights to People Business Partner.
  • Policy & Process: Ensuring legal compliance across managing ER cases, maintaining a balanced approach. Contribute to developing, updating and implementing our people policies and processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Recruitment Support: Supporting the People Business Partner with operations recruitment activity, including Talent Day set up, engaging with candidates and facilitation.

Experience & Qualifications

•    Fantastic Employee Relations experience, with a pro-active and positive approach who wants to really make a difference to their business area and the business.
•    Somebody who is willing to take real ownership and accountability for ensuring that our people processes are managed in the right way to ensure consistency and efficiency, whilst maintaining a pragmatic and balanced       perspective.
•    Has great coaching and listening skills aimed at supporting others to think through root cause and resolution.
•    Thrives in a busy environment and can remain calm and focused the face of changing priorities.
