Overview of role

We’re looking for an experienced People Services Manager to play a pivotal role in keeping Jordans Cereals running smoothly. This is a senior operational role with real breadth and accountability, sitting at the heart of how we deliver great people experiences at scale. 

You’ll lead high quality people services across the full employee lifecycle, act as the business owner for our HR systems (SuccessFactors), and take ownership of key areas including reward operations, payroll governance, employment tax, compliance and reporting. Working closely with People Business Partners, Finance and our Grocery Shared Service Centre, you’ll focus on simplifying processes, strengthening controls and making sure the foundations really work for our people and our business. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing clarity to complexity, takes pride in strong governance, and wants to make a tangible impact through smarter, more effective ways of working. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Senior people operations role with end to end accountability 
  • Ownership of HRIS (SuccessFactors), people data and KPI reporting 
  • Reward lead for the business, including benchmarking (WTW) and incentives 
  • Payroll signoff, IR35, NMW, P11D and audit ownership 
  • Line management and shared service partnership leadership

The Right Person

What You’ll Bring 

Strong experience in people services, HR operations or shared services within a complex organisation. 

Experience owning people processes, systems and controls, with a focus on quality, compliance and continuous improvement. 

Highly desirable: hands on experience of SuccessFactors as an HRIS, including reporting and process optimisation. 

Highly desirable: strong understanding of reward principles, with practical experience of pay and benefits benchmarking (including WTW or equivalent providers). 

Experience working closely with payroll, finance teams and external providers. 

Customer focused and improvement driven - always looking for better, smarter ways of working. 

A collaborative and down to earth working style with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
