We are on the lookout for a Trainee Production Supervisor on initial fixed-term contract until August 2026 to join our friendly, dynamic team at Ryvita. As part of the ABF group, we have ambitious plans for growth over the next 5 years and we need someone with the drive and passion to help us get there.
Key Accountabilities
Our Shift Manager is looking for a new Trainee Production Supervisor to…
Support line leaders to deliver on production targets, waste, giveaway and MUV.
Co-ordinate teams to ensure that lines are manned effectively.
Work with the Training Co-ordinator to develop a strong team in terms of skills, experience through regular 1:1s and robust succession planning.
Identify and escalate absences and conduct return to work meetings on day 1 of an employee’s return to work.
Monitor and record line performance on an hourly, daily and weekly basis to identify areas for improvement and implement improvements.
To promote a culture of positive safety behaviours within your team, demonstrate strong safety leadership and address unsafe behaviours and working practices to coach the right behaviours.

And have the following skills and experiences strong team player, good planning and prioritising skills and can make sound decisions on safety, food safety and quality issues and understands when escalation is necessary. You may also have experience in managing or supervising a team in a production environment.
