Job Title:  Procurement Finance Business Partner

Overview of role

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Supply Finance team. Providing analysis, support and challenge the Procurement team as we look to be best in class in Finance Support.

You will support all aspects of the Procurement Function, from multi Million Pound tenders, NPD launch support and producing robust Financial Forecasts.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide insightful analysis to support decision making across the Procurement team
• Support the team on tenders and benchmarking process
• Provide Financial support and insight on NPD/EPD projects
• Challenge team to ensure we are a class leading Procurement team
• Work with Commercial teams on customer mechanism support
• Own the Procurement forecasting process from Start to Finish
• Business Partner Head of Procurement & work on quarterly presentations
• Provide high quality and clear forecast commentary
• Complete Period end with insightful commentary and analysis
• Complete relevant balance sheet reconciliations
• Owner of new product set up within JDE
• Standard Costing Business Process Owner including control and reconciliation of the Annual Standards refresh
• Support & back up to Head of Supply Finance
• EPR, PRN and Plastic Tax lead within Finance

The Right Person

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with excellent IT skills. Previous FMCG experience or working with procurement teams would be an advantage, but not necessary, however bringing insight and having a drive and passion to deliver our goals is key.
