THE ROLE:

As the Senior Customer Manager for Tesco, you will take ownership of delivering sales, profit, and share growth through outstanding customer management and joint business planning. You will act as the commercial interface with Tesco, building strong relationships with Buying and Supply teams, while ensuring best-in-class execution of ranging, pricing and promotional strategies. Working cross-functionally with Finance, Category, Marketing, and Supply, you will translate shopper and category insight into clear plans that drive competitive advantage for Silver Spoon at Tesco.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • Strong commercial awareness with proven experience of working directly with Tesco.
  • Excellent knowledge of Tesco systems and processes and how to leverage them to deliver results.
  • Confident negotiator a track record of building and executing Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with Tesco Buying teams.
  • Skilled communicators who foster collaborative relationships across Tesco and with internal cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and numerical ability to translate category and shopper insight into clear Tesco growth strategies.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail ensuring delivery of promotional and trading plans.
  • Proactive, results driven and able to influence at all levels while adapting quickly in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to teamwork, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
