The role will predominantly focus on operational training within Trafford, ensuring training is designed, delivered, and evaluated in line with business needs. Alongside this, the Training Coordinator will take responsibility for a broader set of training coordination activities typically required in a busy manufacturing setting - supporting compliance, maintaining training systems, and coordinating site‑wide learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, schedule, and maintain all operational training activities for the Trafford site.
- Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and update standard operative procedures that reflect current operational practices.
- Provide coaching and support to SMEs on effective training delivery, ensuring consistent quality standards.
- Deliver selected soft‑skills or behavioural training sessions.
- Monitor training effectiveness, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
- Work with HR team and site team to ensure training aligns with operational and organisational goals.
To ensure a robust training framework across the all sites, you will also:
- Maintain accurate training records, matrices, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure mandatory training (H&S, compliance, food safety, GMP, FLT, etc., depending on environment) is completed and monitored.
- Contribute to audits and inspections by providing training compliance evidence.
- Lead the upkeep and development of e-learning, documentation, and standardised processes.
- Promote a positive learning culture across the site, encouraging continuous capability building.
We’re looking for someone with solid experience in a training, learning and development, or HR role, with a strong track record in coordinating or delivering both operational/technical and soft‑skills training. You’ll bring confidence and credibility in supporting people development, and ideally you will also have experience in the creation and delivery of training solutions across a blend of delivery formats (f2f, e-learning, virtual). A training qualification would be an advantage, as would experience gained within a manufacturing or industrial environment, but most importantly you will have the passion, professionalism and capability to help us build a high‑performing, well‑trained workforce.

We’re looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who can build trust, support diverse teams, and drive a culture of continuous learning. You will be collaborative, organised, proactive, and able to influence others positively to ensure training is well embedded.
Previous experience in a training, L&D, or HR role is essential, along with proven experience in writing, coordinating, and delivering operational, technical, and soft‑skills training. A training qualification is desirable, and experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment is advantageous. Strong organisational and planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyse data are required, as well as confident communication skills with the ability to influence and engage others. The role requires someone comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting, able to deliver training confidently and effectively, with a strong problem‑solving mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement. A structured, methodical approach is important, and good IT skills—particularly in Excel and Word—with e‑learning experience being an advantage
