Key Accountabilities


The key accountabilities for the Finance Business Partner role are: 
 
Business Partnering: 
•    Collaborate across all functions to deliver value and support partner needs proactively.
•    Build strong relationships with UK and International teams.
•    Develop business cases, prepare P&L, and challenge assumptions for key markets.
•    Work closely with Sales teams on pricing, promotions, and CPI decisions through data analysis.


Reporting: 
•    Ensure accurate financials and meet all deadlines.
•    Analyse and comment on weekly/period results, addressing anomalies.
•    Perform period-end reconciliations between ERP (MFG) and the Business Information system (Cognos).


Budgeting & Forecasting: 
•    Create realistic budgets and forecasts with trending analysis.
•    Support key markets in budget and forecast reviews.


Other Responsibilities:
•    Review and approve promotional activities and trade spend effectiveness.
•    Adhere to financial controls and procedures for integrity.
•    Conduct period-end and YTD reconciliations, promo approvals, audit schedules, capex submissions, and stocktaking.
•    Maintain safe work processes to protect health and safety.

And you have the following skills and experiences.... 

  • Qualified accountant CIMA / ACCA / ACA with min 2yrs post qualification experience ideally within a commercial finance role 
  • Expert user in Microsoft Excel and skilled user in other Microsoft programs (e.g. Word and PowerPoint)
  • Has sound analytical ability with confidence to critically appraise and ask challenging questions 
  • Able to see the big picture, but equally able to be thorough and give sufficient attention to detail 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders
