We’re looking for a Forklift Driver to join our friendly and ambitious team. As part of the ABF group, we have big plans for the next five years, you’ll play a key role in shaping our future. The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to be responsible for moving goods, loaded pallets and equipment safely and securely. In addition to driving forklifts, there will also be a requirement to work within the process department when required.
The Forklift Driver working pattern would require full flexibility across the week as it is worked on a 4 on 4 of rotation. For example, one week you would work Monday to Thursday, then the following week would be Tuesday to Friday. This will be day shift only, working 6am to 6pm.
Key Accountabilities
Our Shift Leader is looking for a team member to...
- Lead boldly — Control OEE, wastage and plant efficiency and use the systems in place to accurately control and co-ordinate raw materials, packaging, consumables and finished goods.
- Stay curious — Ensure all quality, quality documentation and hygiene procedures are followed, and identify potential improvement areas.
- Do the right thing together — Be responsible for adhering to safe systems of work processes and acting in a safe manner to protect the health and safety of yourself and others at all times.
- Make it happen — Move goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport, unload deliveries and safely relocate the goods to their designated storage areas, and maintain excellent standards of product quality while minimizing waste.

•    Previous experience of working within a food production environment
•    Team working skills and examples of good relationships with peers and managers
•    Understands the importance of effective shift handovers
•    Holding an FLT license
