Job Title:  Multi-Skilled Operative (Days)

Location: Biggleswade

Shift: Tuesday – Thursday 6am-6pm + 17 flexi shifts per year

Closing date: 1st August 2025

We are on the lookout for a Multi-Skilled Operative to join our friendly team at Jordan’s. As part of the ABF group, we have ambitious plans for growth over the next 5 years and we need someone with the drive and passion to help us get there. 

You will be based at our Biggleswade site, reporting into the Shift Leader, working on 12 hours shifts Tuesday to Thursday, with an additional 17 flexi shifts per year.

The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can be multi skilled in both the process and packing functions of the line to enable a flexible operation.

Key Accountabilities

Our Shift Leader is looking for a team member to... 

• Be aware of Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Systems of Working whilst handling materials, operating machinery and equipment, providing a safe working environment for self and others
• Assist with the handling of raw materials and packing of product by operating specified machinery
• Maintain excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness, necessary in a food production environment
• Maintain excellent standards of product and packaging quality, whilst at the same time ensuring that waste is kept to a minimum
• Collate, record or interpret information for effective role delivery and continuous improvement
• Proactively engage in training and support to develop and improve skill level
