We’re looking for a Process Operative to join our friendly and ambitious team. As part of the ABF group, we have big plans for the next five years, you’ll play a key role in shaping our future. The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking work as part of a team responsible for the blending and baking of raw materials, to safety and quality standards.

 

The Process Operative working pattern would require full flexibility across the week as it is worked on a 4 on 4 of rotation. For example, one week you would work Monday to Thursday, then the following week would be Tuesday to Friday. This will be night shift only, working 6pm to 6am. 

Key Accountabilities

Our Shift Leader is looking for a team member to... 

 

  • Lead boldly — Proactively engage in training, proactively seek training and support to develop and improve skills level.
  • Stay curious — Ensure all quality, quality documentation and hygiene procedures are followed, and identify potential improvement areas.
  • Do the right thing together — Ensure all Health & Safety documentation and policies are followed and completed and use the systems in place to accurately control and co-ordinate raw materials, packaging, consumables and finished good.
  • Make it happen — Control OEE, wastage and plant efficiency and maintain excellent standards of product quality by consistently checking all raw materials and finished product are to the required standards whilst at the same time ensuring that waste is kept to a minimum.

•    Previous experience of working within a food production environment
•    Team working skills and examples of good relationships with peers and managers
•    Understand the importance of effective shift handovers
•    Holding an FLT license or being interested in taking one would be preferable
