We are on the lookout for a Shift Leader to join our friendly team at Jordan’s Dorset Ryvita. As part of the ABF group, we have ambitious plans for growth over the next 5 years and we need someone with the drive and passion to help us get there. 

The Shift Leader working pattern would require full flexibility across the week as it is worked on a 4 on 4 of rotation. For example, one week you would work Monday to Thursday, then the following week would be Tuesday to Friday. This will be night shift only, working 6pm to 6am.

The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to lead and motivate shift teams, driving a culture of safety, quality, achieving targets and continuous improvement delivered through an engaged team.

Key Accountabilities

Our Production Manager is looking for a team member to... 

• Develop and engage their team to meet needs and deliver production, efficiency, and nonproductive hours targets.
• Ensure you & your team is always adhering to safe systems of work and acting in a safe manner to protect the health and safety of yourself and others.
• Ensure you and your team are always adhering to Food safety culture and Quality systems and procedures to ensure our products meet food safety (HACCP), legal and customer requirements as well as maintaining external standards (e.g. BRC).
• Deputise for the Shift Manager if required.

• Experience within FMCG production environment and managing teams.
• Experience of working in an environment that has Health and Safety as a high priority, ideally where behavioral safety has been rolled out. 
• Effective people management and skills and able to deliver on projects.
