We’re looking for a Shift Manager to join our friendly and ambitious team. As part of the ABF group, we have big plans for the next five years, you’ll play a key role in shaping our future. The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to drive employee engagement through coaching and development, deliver the activity plan, and support continuous improvement.

 

The Shift Manager working pattern would require full flexibility across the week as it is worked on a 4 on 4 of rotation. For example, one week you would work Monday to Thursday, then the following week would be Tuesday to Friday. This will be day shift only, working 6am to 6pm.

Key Accountabilities

Our Production Manager is looking for a team member to... 

 

  • Lead boldly — inspire your team to embrace high standards in safety, quality, and performance. Address unsafe behaviours and working practices through active coaching techniques with your direct reports.
  • Stay curious — use data and insight to drive continuous improvement and challenge the status quo.
  • Do the right thing together — foster a culture of collaboration, coaching, and accountability.
  • Make it happen — ensure your shift runs smoothly, audit-ready, and aligned with our strategic goals. In liaison with the support functions complete gap analysis required against standards and ensure appropriate action plans are in place.

 

You’ll also lead daily SOM meetings, track key performance indicators, and work closely with support functions to meet internal and external audit standards.
