This is a fantastic role for an experienced Advisor to join our small (but mighty) team in Poole, working with our busy operations teams. The role is fulltime, working 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, however the role may require you to flex your hours to fulfil the needs of a 24-hour manufacturing site. The role is site based but there is some flexibility to work from home one day per week. 

You will be the go-to person in the People & Performance team for all advisory support to our manufacturing operations teams. Providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees, managing employee relations cases, ensuring legal compliance and supporting the implementation of people strategies and organisational change. 

Key Accountabilities

Our People & Performance Business Partner is looking for a team member to... 
 
•    Provide expert advice and lead on all disciplinary, grievance, performance and sickness/capability cases. Ensuring consistency and fairness in handling employee relation cases with our manufacturing operations.  
•    Proactively support managers in the effective application of our People policies and procedures, acting as a trusted advisor.   
•    Manage recruitment campaigns and support managers through the process providing expert advice on best methods for recruitment and selection.  
•    Support with workforce planning and ensuring optimum skills coverage across our factories
•    Identify, develop and deliver training to employees and managers to raise awareness of people management issues and internal policies and procedures.

And you have the following skills and experiences.... 

•    Broad experience in an HR generalist role  
•    In-depth knowledge of employee relations, performance management, recruitment and employment law. With experience managing complex employee relation cases independently
•    Ability to coach and influence managers to adopt best practices in people management. 
•    A self-starter who is able to operate with pragmatism and at pace
•    Experience working in an FMCG business would be desirable but not essential.
